Dr Khader is our Senior Partner. He has a special interest in Diabetes Care, Geriatric Care and Palliative Care. He is also interested in minor surgery and can provide Joint Injections in Practice. Dr Khader is fluent in Urdu and Arabic.
Dr Khan is a Partner at the Practice and previously gained qualifications in Surgery. He has a keen interest in Minor Surgery as well as General Surgery. Additionally, he is also our lead clinician for Asthma care. Dr Khan speaks Urdu, Punjabi and Telegu.
Dr Bilal is a salaried GP who offers appointments on Wednesdays and Fridays. She has an interest in Mental Health, Paediatric Care, and is looking to further develop her skills in Family Planning. Dr Bilal speaks Urdu and Punjabi.
Dr Aeri is our regular Locum, who works on Mondays.
Claire Steward is our lead Practice Nurse, and a valuable member of the team.
She has undertaken a wide range of additional qualifications in nursing care and is also our Infection Control Lead.
Verity is a Practice Nurse who specialises in Asthma and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). She has played a key role in the Practice during this year's flu vaccination programme.
She is currently undertaking further training in Family Planning.
Rachel holds an MSc in Rehabilitation and Healthcare Management.
She has previously worked in Primary Care and has been involved in developing new services at Longbarn Lane Surgery. She is particularly interested in promoting care planning for at-risk patient groups, disability access and support for carers.
The Practice is affiliated with a range of local healthcare staff.
We are proud of the multidisciplinary teamwork that is carried out with the District Nursing Team, Community Matron, Midwives, Dietician and Health Visitor.
We also provide clinic space for the IRIS Drug and Alcohol Counselling Service, who are available at Longbarn Lane Surgery on Fridays.
