Prescriptions

Ordering repeat prescriptions

Once authorised by a doctor, medications that have been put onto repeat can be requested from the surgery without the need to see a doctor.

This can be done in person at the surgery (using your repeat slip or a form at the surgery), by post (if you enclose a stamped addressed envelope) or using the AccuRx online services.

We are unable to accept repeat prescription requests over the telephone unless you are a registered housebound patient.

You may also request and/or query your medication through our online triage, click here to access.

Routine Repeat Prescriptions

Please allow 72 hours for repeat prescription requests to be processed. These must be made in person at the surgery.

Any queries, or when your medication comes up for its review date, the repeat prescription has to be referred to a doctor and therefore, there may be a delay in completing your prescription request.

Urgent Repeat Prescriptions

We will try our best to accommodate any urgent requests but, cannot guarantee that this will be possible, so please ensure you leave plenty of time for prescription requests to be processed.
